Covid 19 Precautions

Bodyworks Osteopathy of York continues to follow Covid 19 government guidelines with and, on their advice, together with the General Osteopathic Council and Institute of Osteopathy.

• Risk assessment for infection control of the Pilates matwork area and clinic room has been carried out and written up. A hard copy is available to view on request.
  

• On arrival, please walk straight in to the studio. Your Osteopath will collect you at your appointment time.
  
  
• Please come to your appointment on your own to minimise the number of people in the clinic, unless you need a chaperone of course. Only bring essential belongings such as one handbag/rucksack.
  
  
• Your Osteopath will wear a type IIR mask if required.

• In order to ensure hygiene and to lower the risk of transmission, there are no fabric covers for the treatment table and pillows. The table and waterproof pillows will be wiped down with disinfectant after each patient, as will all hard surfaces in the treatment room.

• Payment can be made directly by online banking however if you prefer to pay by card, the machine will be wiped down after use. Discounts are available on request. Bodyworks Osteopathy of York recognises that people may be finding this time financially difficult. Please feel free to discuss your needs with your Osteopath.

• Please note as the UK continues to deal with the pandemic, guidelines, advice and protocols may change. Bodyworks Osteopathy of York will keep up to date on all current Government and professional bodies announcements and act accordingly. With this in mind, the above procedures may change over time so please do visit this section to keep up to date.
